Let the family priest of the Pandavas ever engaged in the performance of Brahma rites as also the brothers, the five sons of Pandu, these foremost among men, As also the five sons of Draupadi and the princes of Panchala and Chedi and myself also anoint you as king in the lordship of the universe. Let also king Yudhishthira, the son of Dharma be your hair-apparent; having taken the white chamara let that virtuous-souled one, of restrained senses, Yudhishthira, the son of Kunti, drive in the chariot behind you. Let also the son of Kunti, Bhimasena of great strength, Hold over your head the big white umbrella; and your chariot so ringing with a hundred tinkling bells and covered with tiger skins, Having been yoked with white horses will be driven by Arjuna; Abhimanyu too will ever remain near you. Nakula and Sahadeva, and the five sons of Draupadi, the princes of Panchala, and the great car-warrior Shikhandin will follow you. |
